jongyu or both jongyu and onho? jongyu bc all their early moments were like. painfully sweet to me, just made me feel kinda raw and i hardly ever feel like that about any ships in any fandom, not even necessarily an 'omg i hope they're fucking' kinda feel, just, they're my 'sit together in a room talking abt deep shit together' ship in some ways, not cause i think they're the most profound or intellectual members or w/e but just, rly sensitive and with many thoughts about the world, ok i'll stop because someone's gonna say i'm indirectly judging other ships

i don't need them to follow each other on twitter or be the most skinshippy. i just want them to continue to be friends lol /pathetic

i was mostly asking about jongyu, but you could tell me why you started shipping onho too! and oh yes, anon ;;; a while back i missed them so much that i compiled a timeline of a lot of their interactions since debut, but what i noticed is that jonghyun started with such a fixed idea of what onew was like, it was sort of painful? in 2009 especially when an mc was like "okay, what if onew hyung treated you like this..." and jonghyun immediately shut him down with "but he wouldn't. onew hyung is kind. he isn't like that. he'll never be like that." and anon what am i supposed to doooo :(

onho is easier to explain tbh, i feel like minho's very observant and has rly sort of ~blossomed recently lol and his attentiveness towards onew is legit kind of sexy, and onew's playfulness/trollishness just seals the deal for me

with jongyu back in the day, i sometimes wonder if jong wasn't sort of, good-naturedly underestimating onew by a LOT. bc they have such diff personality types, jong being so straightforward, and it is incredibly easy to underestimate onew. and despite the good-intentionedness, that would have led to awk bc onew does register stuff even if he's such a space cadet half the time
