SHINee drew many people’s attention with their unique ‘standing mic’ performance when they promoted ‘Dream Girl’, and they will be coming up with another unique performance with ‘SHINee’ style for their ‘Chapter 2’ promotion. Also, SHINee will introduce a fun point for their fans where they can search for hidden keywords that connect Chapters 1 and 2 and put them together to create several interpretations.
does jong actually want to do a shitton of variety gigs, is what i'm wondering. obvsly if u do them u get moneys and exposure, and it must be alienating for him to be constantly left out of the loop. but is that what he rly wants anyway? jokes abt unemployed oppar aside he is very very committed to music and making music also takes a lot of time and energy, and it may not be the easiest to focus on that alongside other activities
i don't know exactly how this stuff works so sry if i sound ~naive. but i think his priorities are firmly sorted and i know to expect great things from him in future
i think initially he wasn't very good at variety or very confident about it, which is why he preferred to stay away. now he's gotten much better though but i still don't think it's the kind of thing he would push for.
i feel like sm and jonghyun have a weird sort of agreement where he does everything they ask of him as a part of shinee, and they leave him alone as an individual. to me, he seems to be the most distant from them but not necessarily in a bad way?
sf embarrassed my korean prof asked me if i've seen the new psy mv and then asked me if i thought it was better than gangnam style may have accidentally told her i think gain is hot
i can't be the only fan who's actually pretty happy thinking of their future in music/entertainment biz. they're all extremely talented and/or charismatic and korea's brutal overfocus on youth doesn't mean that they can't go on to have much stronger and more interesting careers- whether still in the band, or in collabs, or entirely solo.
they're in their early 20s, they're not athletes. they have the rest of their lives to do this in. we don't need to feel persecuted on their behalf.
it's nice of you to be optimistic. personally, i'm not. they'll hopefully get by but they're not immensely talented artists. they're good idols and maybe some of them are good singers or dancers but if at any point the industry suffers, they will as well. a decline is inevitable but hopefully they'll find some stable earnings. i don't expect them to go through the rest of their lives with even half of their current popularity but that said, of course i hope the best for them.
yeah they will disband right before that probably, but only if they all go at the same time- and given the age diff between onew and taemin i don't see how.
working on my hip shifts this is why i usually skip these in my bellydance routines these things just do not come naturally to me and i end up bending my knees too much or accidentally lifting my heels and it hurts after a minute
but im gonna get good at these ok just u wait, step aside sadie
how is it bizarre, he's the lead singer and has a very assertive voice and personality (and often sings over everyone else, in b4 BASHING!!1) and those two things put together mean he is the signature voice in shinee p much
