ohh, i see. you shouldn't feel sad, sometimes people put themselves through (temporarily) sorrowful emotions with the purpose of writing, painting, singing, etc.

yeah you're right, and imo he doesn't seem sad right now so maybe he's writing from past experiences or it's just a topic he finds...inspiring
