one possible solution was to put together a story mv for ONCE, and include choreo that didn't blatantly highlight that one member is missing
i wouldn't gaf considering how many times this has happened in lives, but 1) he is their lead singer and his voice is a huge part of their entire back catalogue so this is awk, 2) i was rly looking fwd to the title track not being so upbeat

da but maybe they didn't want to get shit on for forcing him to work so soon after he got the surgery. didn't they film it only a few days after his operation? he probably has to wear a cast over his nose or something too. idk i can understand being butthurt but sheesh, he was in an accident, it affected the focal point of the face, he just underwent surgery on it, and you want him to throw a mask on and appear in the mv? seems selfish to me

oh so all of them or none of them at all. idt that would have been a good idea and i'm sure it would have required more time, thought and preparation, which they didn't have. they filmed the mv one week after his accident and released the teaser a little over a week after that.

i know sm videos have a set and justified formula, but it would have been p interesting- the thing i have to agree to disagree on tho is the 'didn't have' part. like, if they just had one week does that mean they threw the choreo together from scratch too, and story mvs don't have to be massively complicated, it could have actually alluded to the so-called zombie concept, anything rly.
