i guess so but that's assuming that there haven't been any hints or clues that lead people to believe he's most likely gay in the first place, which isn't the case. my interpretation of his sexuality goes beyond just stereotypes, it's the things he says and the way he acts around men vs. women. i'm more weary of people who insist he's straight because it /could/ be due to a refusal to accept his potentially being gay or based on the premise that everyone is straight unless proven otherwise, which erases valid orientations. i see what you're saying about insisting about someone's orientation either way since there's no way of knowing, but i think that people believe he's gay for very valid reasons and it's usually less problematic than people who insist on his supposed heterosexuality.
