honestly now that they have four singers to divide parts between and their boner for taemin and their love of using jonghyun to make everything sound vocally sound, there's bound to be a mess

yeah- there's also the thing that very early on, the more r'nb-style stuff got distributed to jong and onu mostly bc they could go there, and also to key even tho he wasn't the stablest; the taemin boner thing is complicating things bc taemin has such a distinctive voice TOO now, but way more of a pop sound- all four of them sound good with more rock sound songs but sm are so SO bad at giving them good enough material; we haven't even begun to talk about minho
